Annual figures use the first and last available points of each calendar year in the maximum-history series (monthly-spaced points, about 10 per year), so they are not necessarily 1 January / 31 December closes. Years with no points are omitted, never estimated.

How to read this page

Amounts (USD) and percentages (%) are separate columns on purpose: a large dollar move on a high price can be a small percentage move, and vice versa. The “daily” row compares the latest close with the previous close; every other row compares the latest close with the last available close on or before the target date. Periods up to 5 years use the daily 5-year series; 10- and 20-year rows use the maximum-history series (monthly-spaced points). Annual rows use the first and last available points of each calendar year in that same maximum-history series.
